Ajarn Chai was born in October 6, 1948 in Bangkok Thai Land. He is the man who foundedThe World Thai Boxing Association. And He Studied Muay Thai and Karate when he was six years old.
When he was age 12 he earned his Black in in Storinryu . He started to fight in the ring in Muay Thai.
Upon arriving in the United States of America, Sirisute managed to befriend and train an notorious Motorcycle gang called the Hells Angels having no idea who they were until the FBI explained it to him. Whereupon, Sirisute volunteered to train the FBI agents.
When it was 1970's to early 1980's he sirisute was taught at several Southern California Colleges Chaffey College Claremont Men's College, and Cal State San Bernardino and out of his house.
His early students included Jim Vanover, Ron Ritoch (former student of Jim Vanover), Bryan Dobler, Mike Goldbach, Reggie Jackson, Glen Hernandez, Don Boyd, and the vice president Chai's Thai Boxing Association, Tony Gneck whom Ajarn brought to Thailand in 1982 as the first American team to compete in the Muay Thai World Championships.
Ajarn had trained another Martial arts teacher in 1978 and his name is Dan Inosanto. Dan had trained as a student In Ajarn Backyard and eventually Introduced Jeet Kune Do teaching seminars, which greatly helped Sirisute extend awareness of Muay Thai in the U.S.A. as well as internationally. in In 1983 Inosanto introduced Sirisute to Tom Landry of the Dallas Cow Boys who soon incorporated Muay Thai into their pre-season conditioning with Sirisute as their instructor until the time of Landry's departure in 1990.
Sirisute now runs a Muay Thai camp in Oregon each year with more than 200 students from all over the planet attending. In 1968 He founded the Thai Boxing Association of the United States Of America and has expanded it to more than 18 countries all over the planet. He maintains a busy seminar schedule traveling around the whole planet and he is teaching Muay Thai today.
It does not say what his children's names are or his parent probably because he is not famous enough or maybe he will like to keep that private.
He will kick his fathers heavy bag every time he got it. He is coming to New Jersey and he is coming to my church because he is going to teach a kick boxing class and he was the first person who was teaching Americans this art and he has worked tirelessly for more than 40 years to that end.
The World Thai Boxing Association is the largest and the oldest organization of it's kind in the whole planet and Ajarn Chai was the first person to ever find that organization 1968. Ajarn Chai is an Martial arts Instructor.
I do not think he is in any movies but he has videos of himself doing Muay Thai that is Kick Boxing.
