Bessie Coleman

When Bessie Coleman was younger she wanted to be a pilot and she wanted to learn how to fly a plane and she tried to good to a place that teaches her how to fly but no man will let a woman fly a plane no women where allowed to fly planes.

She went to a school in France so they can teach her how to fly a plane. She was the first African american woman to fly a plane.

Miss Coleman was an was an American civil aviator. She was the first woman of African-American descent and the first of Native American descent, to hold a pilot license.

Her parents names are  George Coleman  and Susan Coleman and her siblings names are Elois Coleman Patterson,Isaiah Coleman,Georgia Coleman,Walter Coleman,Nilus Coleman and John Coleman.

Her education was in Langston University and she was born in January 26, 1892 in Atlanta Texas she died in April 30, 1926 in Jacksonville Florida. Her spouse is Claude Glenn. When people said women where not allowed to fly she never gave up.
