Why is there phone numbers

We have Phone numbers because so we can call people.


Lets say you are far away from you family members house you have phones numbers because so you friends and family will know where you are. People have to pay for there phone numbers because because that is how the phone company gets there money.

Before phone numbers people used to call people on the phone now people can call on the internet. Lets say if phone get more advance the phone company will have enough money for those advance phones.

It's like other company's try to beat the phone company. There a lot of phone company's and the phone company's want to make as much money as possible.

 That is how the phone company makes more money and more customers. Maybe there should be a phone company that people use the phone numbers for free because not ever body can afford a phone number. You pay to the phone company and you pay online to pay to the phone company. Google give people phone numbers for free but you have to have a head set or a cell phone number.
